Merchandise Replenishment Associate
Summary
Description
Organizing products on the sales
floor so that customers and salespeople can easily find them. Enhance the
guest’s overall experience and provide excellent customer service by greeting
and interacting with customers; provide superior customer service by offering
assistance in finding the right product suitable for the customers and answer
any questions they may have; maintain a neat and clean sales floor in a
visually appealing manner.

Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Replenishment
• Restock items that have sold on
the sales floor.
• Replace products that have transferred,
expired, been recalled or sustained damage.
• Apply price
tags to items and security tags to products.
• Clearly mark price changes on
items.
• Create product displays to
promote store sales.
• Prepare inventory markdown plan and enter into Inventory
Markdowns.
• Print markdown labels as needed.
• Relabel
merchandise as it goes to clearance and put out on sales floor.
• Work with
Central Distribution Center to Request Weekly Deliveries to re-fill stock room.
• Communicate
with Appropriate Buyer with needs and wants.
2) Inventory
• Participate in periodic
physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports, etc.).
3) Customer Service
• Greet customers promptly, in a
courteous and friendly manner.
• Communicate
professionally with other associates, sales people and customers.
4) Organization
• Organizational skills and the
ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
5) Other Duties

Qualifications
& Job Requirements
• Superior communication and
customer service skills.
• Ability to get
along with a broad customer base.
• Experience in
merchandising, retail sales or customer service.
• Experience with Point-of-Sales
and computerized inventory systems or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Working
knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel
Physical
Demands
• Frequently required to bend,
stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Frequently
requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds of material.
• Occasionally
requires the ability to lift up to a 50 pound of material.
• Frequently
requires the ability to stand and walk throughout work shift.
• Occasionally climb
ladders to position and retrieve products.
Working
Conditions
• Majority of work is conducted
in a climate controlled indoor environment.
• The noise
level in the work environment is usually moderate.
